Frankston project gets approval from State Government

The Haven Foundation is pleased to announce that the Victorian State Government is to provide capital funding to enable THF to establish Haven Frankston.

The project will involve the construction of twenty (20) fully self-contained one bedroom units and staff facilities on a site purchased in Ebdale Street, Frankston. The units will enable THF to provide long term supported accommodation to 20 people with severe and enduring mental illness.

The Haven Frankston project will replicate the highly successful Haven South Yarra accommodation that was completed in 2011.

Construction is expected to commence early in 2017 and be completed by March 2018.

THF is grateful to the State Government, the Colonial Foundation, the Brand Foundation, the Ralph & Betty Sims Fund, and many other donors for supporting the Haven Frankston project.
